Rematch of last weeks match Vs Sweden – this time the Aussies have the answers
Last week at the Klagenfurt Grandslam, Alice Rohkamper and Heike Jensen were unlucky not to qualify losing to the Swedish team of Lundqvist-Ljungquist 16 – 14 in the third set. This week, in the first round of the losers bracket, main draw, they have turned the tables on that same team winning convincingly 0-2 (21-23, 15-21). This takes them to 17th, their next match against Arvaniti-Tsiartsiani from Greece.
Palmer-Bawden have just won their second round in the winners bracket beating Liliana-Baquerizo ESP 2-0 (21-12, 21-12). This takes them through to a third round match up with the 2nd seeded Brazilians Talita-Antonelli, and 13th place.
