Louise Bawden and partner Becchara Palmer have won the silver medal at the Polish World tour event losing the final to Larissa-Juliana 2-0 (21-14, 21-16).

This is a landmark result for the Australian beach program, marking the arrival of a new group of Australian athletes on the World Tour.

Currently Australia has 4 teams travelling on the tour. Palmer-Bawden and Rohkamper-Jensen in the women’s draw, and two qualifying teams in the men’s: Boehm-McHugh and Campbell-Carey.
