The Australian National Beach Volleyball Championships are on!
Nataly cook has stepped up to the plate and offered the Sand Storm venue for the Australian National Beach Volleyball Championships. they will be held on the 27th – 29th of March. Nominations close on 5.00pm Tuesday 3rd March 2009, and costs are $132.00 (incl GST) per Team.

Mike Whitmarsh has been found dead at a friends house in Solana Beach.

Whitmarsh accumulated 25 AVP titles and an Olympic silver medal in a fantastic career. It’s very sad to hear that he has died so unexpectedly.

The AVF needs to change their attitude from, “We will do it if….” to “We will do it, now let’s work out how…”
